We tune American and import motorcycles on our Dynostar DUK-500 dynamometer. 

Our dyno is rated for 750 hp.  It is equipped with an eddy current brake rated 225 hp at 3 minutes/full power.  We can do sweep, step and hold or even add extra load to a basic inertia test to compensate for big power bikes that would rip through an inertia pull in a couple of seconds.

Exhaust gas analysis is provided by dual ECM Co. AFM-1600 air fuel monitors. 

Customers get print outs of results as well as CD containing graphs and their final map.

Standard tuning of Power Commander IIIusb and PCV

$300 - flat rate

Includes up to 4 hours of dyno time tuning the map in the PC.  On normal street bikes this includes mapping for max power as well as driveability.  We tune the map in all the usable cells with the aid of our dyno's eddy current brake that can be adjusted on the fly for any rpm point and s-beam load cell for real time on screen torque readings.  The advantage is great fueling at small throttle openings as well as great power at wide open throttle.

 

 

Standard tuning of Bazzaz, Yoshimura EMS, Power Commander Fuel Controller (PCFC), Fuel Moto Micro Tuner and Dynatek Fusion

WE TUNE HARLEYS with POWER COMMANDERS

Your dealer may tell you Power Commanders don't work on Harleys and they can't be tuned.  Don't worry, bring your bike to us.  We have no problem tuning Harley Davidsons with PCIII and PCVs. It's not that they don't work - tuning takes time and dealers hate tuning. We love tuning.  It's what we do.

 

 

Quickies - Basic dyno runs to establish a baseline for home tuning, future mods or just for fun

$50

We'll run your bike with a minimum of 3 pulls to establish a base line power and air/fuel reading.   Assuming we can get a good spark signal we'll give you HP, Torque and Air Fuel ratio vs. rpm.  Minimum 3 runs.   Often it takes 5, 6 or more.  Why?  We want to see two to three runs within 0.5 hp repeatability.  We'll send you off knowing that your bike registered it's peak power and power wasn't still climbing when we stopped.  Hey, we've seen V-Maxes take 10+ runs to stabilize the engine, drive line and rear end temps and give nice solid repeatable runs.  

Why would we do this when the dealer sends you off with only two or three pulls?  Because, it's the right way to do it.  We could make more money doing it their way, but you wouldn't put your faith in us once you learned a little more.  We'd rather do it the right way.   It's the way we do it with our own bikes.  It's the way to do it with yours.
